From BBW Consultants to a global software house.

Founded with a different vision

StableLogic was founded in London in 1993, originally operating under the name BBW Consultants. The business was set up by experienced professionals who had previously worked in large corporate consultancies and saw an opportunity to take a different approach: one that was more practical, more accountable, and more closely aligned to client outcomes.

From the beginning, the focus was on applying technology in ways that genuinely improved how organisations operated, rather than delivering abstract recommendations.

Early public sector roots

In its earliest years, BBW Consultants worked with public-sector and housing organisations, including early engagements with London & Quadrant Housing and Merton Council.

These projects helped shape the company's pragmatic, delivery-focused ethos and established long-standing experience in complex, user-centred environments where technology change had real operational and social impact.

Digital & telecoms specialisation

During the late 1990s and early 2000s, the business specialised in digital and telecommunications technologies, supporting organisations through the rapid evolution of voice and data services.

As the technology landscape changed, StableLogic changed with it, steadily expanding its scope beyond infrastructure and communications into broader programmes of technology-enabled change, operating model design, and enterprise transformation.

Launch of Veroxos

In 2015, the business launched Veroxos, its telecom expense management platform. Veroxos was created in response to recurring client challenges around cost visibility, governance and control across complex telecom estates.

The launch of Veroxos marked an important milestone for the company, formalising its transition from purely advisory services into building and operating technology products alongside client delivery work.

Rebranded as StableLogic

By 2016, with an expanding international client base and a significantly broader range of services, the company rebranded from BBW Consultants to StableLogic.

The new name better reflected how clients already viewed the business: trusted, dependable and capable of bringing structure and clarity to complex technology environments. The rebrand also aligned with the company's growing presence beyond the UK and its increasing focus on long-term client partnerships.

Big data & analytics at scale

As data became central to how organisations operated, StableLogic focused heavily on big data and analytics, supporting clients such as Northern Rail with large-scale data platforms, insight generation and operational decision-making.

This work reinforced StableLogic's ability to operate at scale, combining deep technical expertise with an understanding of real-world business constraints.

Becoming a full software house

Over the past five years, StableLogic has established itself as a full software development house. Alongside advisory and data services, the company now designs, builds and operates complex web and mobile applications for clients, delivering end-to-end solutions from architecture and design through to build, deployment and ongoing support.

These programmes have included major customer-facing and internal platforms, developed using modern cloud-native architectures and agile delivery approaches.
